Ambassador Program
Help Connect the Parkinson’s Community with Support
The Neuro Challenge Foundation Ambassador Program gives volunteers a meaningful way to raise awareness of PD, share trusted resources, and connect more people with Neuro Challenge’s free programs and services.
Ambassadors are official volunteer representatives of Neuro Challenge who help bridge the gap between the community and the support available to people living with PD and their care partners.
Ambassadors do not provide medical advice, counseling, or mentoring. Their role is to share information, raise awareness, and connect people with Neuro Challenge resources across Southwest Florida, including Sarasota, Manatee, Pinellas, Highlands, Marion, and Charlotte counties.
What Ambassadors Do
Ambassadors support Neuro Challenge in flexible volunteer roles based on their interests, experience, and availability.
You may help by:
- Sharing information about Neuro Challenge programs
- Representing Neuro Challenge at events
- Connecting people with PD resources
Visiting medical offices and community partners - Supporting programs and attendance
Opening doors for donors, sponsors, and partners - Advocating for the Parkinson’s community
Ambassador Roles
Advocacy Ambassador
Amplifies the voices of people impacted by PD and helps raise awareness with community leaders and policymakers.

Community Relations and Engagement Ambassador
Helps spread Neuro Challenge’s message through community outreach and awareness.
Great fit if: You enjoy meeting people, attending events, and sharing helpful resources.
Clinical Outreach Ambassador
Builds relationships with healthcare professionals by visiting medical offices and sharing brochures and program information.
Great fit if: You are comfortable making introductions and connecting care teams with PD support services.
Development Ambassador
Helps create connections for fundraising, sponsorships, and community partnerships.
Great fit if: You enjoy networking and opening doors for a good cause.
Program Ambassador
Assists with Neuro Challenge programs, events, attendance, and participant support.
Great fit if: You are friendly, organized, and enjoy helping at in-person programs.
Student Ambassador
Supports youth leadership, creative projects, awareness campaigns, and community service.
Great fit if: You are a student looking to make a meaningful impact while building leadership experience.
Who Can Become an Ambassador?
You do not need to be a PD expert to become an Ambassador. You just need a heart for service and a willingness to learn.
Ambassadors may include:

- Community volunteers
- Anyone passionate about supporting the Parkinson’s community
How It Works
1. Apply Online
Complete the Ambassador Program application.
2. Application Review
Neuro Challenge reviews your interests and availability.
3. Interview
A department head will meet with you to discuss the best fit.
4. Staff Review
The team completes a final review.
5. Welcome Letter
Approved Ambassadors receive next steps.
6. Onboarding
You will complete forms and receive Ambassador materials.
7. Training
You will complete orientation and PD education modules.
8. Ready to Start
Once training is complete, you can begin serving as an official Ambassador.
