Care Advising

Your Partners in Parkinson’s

To schedule an appointment with a Care Advisor

Today, there are more resources and opportunities available for people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers than ever before. The key, however, is not only finding them, but also knowing which to choose and then ensuring they all work together. Simply put, this can be overwhelming. But it’s important to know you’re not alone on your journey with Parkinson’s Disease.

Neuro Challenge Foundation for Parkinson’s offers free individualized guidance to people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, Marion, Highlands, and Pinellas counties and beyond. In addition, we believe a better approach to Parkinson’s is through education, activity, exercise, social opportunities and support from others who have experienced similar challenges.

Care Advisors offer free guidance to people with Parkinson’s and their Care Partners on how to best manage the symptoms of the disease and what therapies and services can be most useful. They connect you with community resources near you that help you live optimally at your current stage of the disease. They realize that every individual is different – and they strive to understand your needs and refer you to appropriate resources. Many in our community have found hope and empowerment through services designed specifically for those with Parkinson’s, such as physical therapy, specialized exercise classes, education groups, dance, yoga, singing, and opportunities for socialization and learning from others on the same journey. Our Care Advisors also acknowledge the special needs of spouses and family members, and have designed special groups to help them adjust to being a loving Care Partner.
