Parkinson’s Connect:
Empowering Through Mentorship

Neuro Challenge Foundation for Parkinson’s has partnered with the Parkinson’s Association of San Diego to bring you a special mentorship program for people with Parkinson’s and their Care Partners. The purpose of this program is to provide a supportive environment where individuals affected by Parkinson’s can connect with mentors who understand their experiences. Mentors can offer emotional support, share coping strategies, and provide encouragement, which can help mentees feel empowered and more confident in managing their condition.

The difference between a Neuro Challenge Care Advisor and a Parkinson's Connect Mentor

A Mentor is someone who has first-hand experience with Parkinson’s
and can support, advise, and guide you along your Parkinson’s journey.

A Care Advisor is a professional consultant with extensive Parkinson’s knowledge
and information about care resources specific to communities that the Neuro Challenge Foundation serves.

Both of these services are offered for free to people with Parkinson’s and their Care Partners.
